See, the problem is that Sesame Street became a victim of its own success. Once they realized that children REALLY WERE LEARNING because of the program, they had to change aspects of it to evolve with a changing society. So things like Adults not believing the things you say, healthy eating and other aspects were a part of that.
Where Sesame Street REALLY failed, in my opinion, was Elmo.

Actually, elmo's kinda cute. It's what the marketing people did with elmo that got annoying.
At least elmo is better than scrappy doo -- That was the worst decision -- EVER! |

What? Am i being slandered?!...oh, it's THAT snuffles you're talking about, and not my despised evil twin! *whew* And since when did Cookie start horking down rice cakes and veggies?! (Kinda dropped out of the whole SS scene about 1976...)
And Elmo, whom I do know about, drives me out of my freakin tree. He's almost as bad as Barney was. |
