		| | I'm looking to ditch my iMac for a PC. I found this website describing how to do the switch, but was wondering if anyone has an easier method or third party software I'm not aware of.

Don't know if I'll use LightRoom or DarkTable yet, but I plan on dual booting the box.
Or should I simply make a Hackintosh partition and keep using Aperture?

		| | I can't speak for the capability of DarkTable, but I can for LightRoom. I will say that Lr is competitive with the best in class when it comes to RAW conversion capability, and it is also a tremendous workflow tool *if* you take advantage of its capabilities. Because the user interface is so different, it takes some getting used to, and I always recommend getting a book *prior* to setting up Lr. There are choices you make at set-up that are important to get right, and the "right" answers for me aren't necessarily the right ones for you.
