Here's my dilemma...It all goes down to a ball of wax....What is the best camera out there..this fall I will be upgrading to the best camera I can find and best price I can find..for around 2 grand...should I go cheaper to one I can save on or...upgrade to something that does not need allot of upgrades?

Probably won't need another for several years. Ok at least two or three lol.

Point meaning who has the best camera....and who has had the most different cams..those who are the ones who can tell me the most.

Its going to depend upon who you ask and what you're shooting. I've had a chance to use the canon 10d, Nikon d1x and the fuji S2. The fuji happens to be my favorite. For posting photo's on the web I did like the 10d better and for larger prints (16x20) the fuji came out ahead. I mainly shoot for larger prints,. so the fuji it was. For sports though I'd have to recommend one of the nikons. Good luck finding your perfect camera.

If i had $2000 to spend i would probaly spend at least half of it on a couple of good lenses.

this certainly is a loaded question, the BEST camera out there may NOT be the BEST camera for YOUR needs. Just because it is te BEST may not give you what you want from it.

It would be best if you researched the current known top cameras from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Minolta and so on,compare their options/features and their short comings then make a decision based on that. But most of all look for features/options YOU want
