Hi all,

A friend of mine as recently been made redundant and is in the process of setting up a website offering photographic manipulations and restoring.

He needs some examples for his website so is willing to edit or restore a few photographers work for free in return for being able to display before and afters on his site once it is set up (with credit of course)

I'm not sure exactly what the turn around or quantity needed will be but if anyone is interested you can email your files (largest JPEG as possible) with a brief of what your after.

Feel free to post the result here afterwards if you are happy and bear him in mind next time you want to outsource.

:)

popular photography (i think) in the last year ran an article on a guy who does just this. I image its a solid move so long as he can find consistent work, as PP take lots of time. i myself thought about doing this freelance for other photogs.

tell him to advertise on other forums, i know Photography on the net has a "services offered" section.

Thanks Mike, I'll tell him to check it out.

Craigslist "creative" section (in various major city sub-sites) might yield some good opportunities to build his portfolio as well. Best of luck.
