This is my most recent shot. It was taken at Zapata Falls in the San Luis Valley (Colorado). This is behind the falls, right before the drop. What does everyone think about the shot? |

A little cluttered. I think you need more of the stream. But it's nice and sharp and I like the motion. |

I have some with more of the stream and they just didn't look as good for some reason. |

I agree with this being a bit cluttered. You might try shooting from a lower point of view right in the stream (camera about 12" above water) to emphasize the water and de-emphasize the surrounding brush. You could also dip your aperture wo the background fades out a touch.
Another thing that might work is switching to b/w. Sometimes its the color that clutters and image and allows you to focus on its structure independently from the tones. I think either way the foreground branch is responsible for a lot of the busy feel.

Zoom in a little and isolate a stone often works wonders. Your speed is spot on though, I like it.
