I preferred my outtake but thought my entry would do better - I will never know if it was the right decision but was pleased with the score.

there is a more "classic" silhouette feel, that based upon the smooth orange tone surely caught the hearts and minds of DPC voters.
I looked at both for a while, and I like your entry, but the outtake is a bit more interesting in its presentation, the shepherds hooks, the varied sky- but you are right, the speed voter or the strict voting constructionist may in fact not appreciate the goodness of meaningful clutter induced chaos.

This shot was taken one day before challenge was announced. Could not enter it. Would love a comment or three!!

Here's another for a 2nd opinion. I thought about putting this in Silhouettes but decided on something entirely different.
