I will be going to Chicago next week for a business trip and one of our vendors has reserved the Odyssey Cruise ship for a dinner cruise leaving from Navy Peir.

This will be my first trip to the Navy Pier, any good things to photo while Im there? hopefully I will have some time to photo the chicago sky line from the ship.

Just look around while you're there, the whole place is set up like a carnival with rides and other craziness. Should be lots of stuff.

| There is a wonderful exhibit of stained glass inside the pier, but make sure you do NOT visit it unless you are not in a hurry! Also there is a lot of local artist sculpture artwork on the pier walkway and in the little park just outside the main entrance of the pier. Each year there are new sculptures, although some of them remain year after year. You may have a problem photographing the skyline from your ship, depending on what time the cruise is. You will have to look west, which means right into the setting sun. But if you are out there after the sun sets, you should have the opportunity for some nice pictures. |

Thanks for the tips, Im not sure how much time I will have to take some photos. Its unclear now if they are going to bus our group out there or we are on our own to get to the Navy Pier.
