"Maximum Operating Height (center column extended): 60" center / 48.5â center column not extended."

That's not enough tripod to be useful day in and day out. As a rule, you want the camera at eye level WITHOUT extending the center column; that's your maximum-stability situation. THIS tripod won't even get the camera to eye level with the column extended, except maybe for Melethia (runs for shelter) :-)

Nice catch.
I suppose I'm relieved because I was tempted ⦠I have too many tripods as it is though - my wife doesn't understand. Mainly the reason is because I never plunk down enough coin to get one that is travel-friendly, high quality, and stable. So I have a very heavy tank, a gorillapod, a cheap, shaky, light manfrotto, and a decent monopod which I have almost no use for. ;\

make back stronger, then hand carve a tripod made of some titanium and tungsten, carry everywhere! -.- non serious advice offered by random person.
