Awwww, that sucks. Why did you have to submit it early? Did someone ask for a verification or something? How were you doing btw?

I was about to spot edit my photo but it's a very, VERY good thing I didn't as I'm not doing too shabby right now.

I was DQ'ed for the Blue Moon challenge. I wasn't really given an explanation as to why I was DQ'ed. Only opinions of 2 of the site council gave me some indication. I figure, you must be doing something "right" for someone to be annoyed enough to put you up for DQing lol. Don't get too down. I'm sure there are lots of us out there.

You're not the first it's happened to either. I try to start with just Basic editing on all my pictures ... sometimes, after I get it submitted, I'll see something slightly amiss, and then I'll notice it's Advanced editing and I can go back and fix it.

I did something similar for the Newspaper challenge. I spot edited, forgetting that it was an open challenge (and I rarely spot edit a shot). About 4 days into the challenge I realized what I had done and requested removal by the SC. It was yanked a day or two before end of challenge. And it was doing pretty good (not great). My mistake and I paid for it. At least it taught me to doble check everything before submitting.

My apologies to those who's time was wasted voting on my shot.

I've noticed some folks stating they used curves in the Non member challenges. Is that illegal? If not, that would have helped with a few of my shots.

Curves has always been legal in all challenges :)
