Hi DPers.

I'm going to be in the water near Fiji right in the path of the November 13 SW Pacific eclipse.

I've a few pairs of solar glasses for viewing and getting a few pieces of no. 14 welder's glass cut to P size for safe photos.

Has anyone done much solar photography before? Is there any advice that isn't on every solar eclipse viewing page eg. don't look into the sun without eye protection derp.

My pictures from the recent (near-)annular solar eclipse and from the transit of Venus ... a bunch of other people here have also taken eclipse photos ...

Not sure I have any other good advice beyond what you know already. Good luck -- I'm sure people will be anxious to see what you come up with!
