i've seen a few challenge submissions on this site that have no title. how is this possible? everytime i try to do this i get a message telling me i need to enter a title. even if i hit the space bar a few times to enter blank characters.

enter the words 'no title'

It's a special perk for users that can't type. They pay a little extra for that.

waal, I entered that with the title

"use your imagination"

in the Use your imagination challenge. and it appeared in the challenge as I have writ it, with the quotes, but afterwards it disappeared, so now I check my wallet after every challenge.

It is a site bug... It happened with my entry in the Ray Bradbury challenge and the SC fixed my entry...

What I did was include quotation marks in my title "A Piece of Wood" (1952) and then I added comments to the entry during voting. Because of the quotes most likely being stored in the HTML tag as ""A Piece of Wood" (1952)", when I updated my entry with the comments, the title was erased by the first two "".

No "" would be empty string.

Title=""myphoto""

Would resolve to title=""
