It says you're not allowed to use graphics or clip art. What would constitute "graphics"? If I create images in photoshop (for example, if I made an orange rectangle) would this constitute a graphic and therefore be illegal? |

No that would be legal as you created it, an orange triangle from a clip art source however would be illegal. |

when you say "make", if I using a PS-like program to draw some shapes from scratch, is that going to pass muster? they are "graphics" in the strictest sense, but i created them. |
