I didn't even realize there was another...I was talking about the Sigma 10-20 F4-5.6. Most of the time, almost all of the time, I use it at 10mm. I've always said I would be just as happy with a 10mm prime. So the variable aperture doesn't bother me, and the lens was only around $450 when I bought it a few years back.

Note that this is also an EX lens...Sigma's higher end line.

But the f/4-5.6 has a 77mm filter. It's the other one that's 82mm... Both of them are EX lenses...

I remember looking at both before I purchased and thought the IQ was a hair better on the slower lens. Grated they were so close it was more likely within standard variation from lens to lens.
