This was such fun. Thanks. I'm going to share it on Facebook.

Eta: this reminds me of a macaw I see at the local wildlife sanctuaries. Her owner, a disabled veteran, takes her there to to enjoy the environment and watch the other birds. One day I saw the parrot sidle up to a heron on the railing of the boardwalk. The heron moved away slightly, the parrot moved in a little closer, the heron again moved away. Finally the parrot said "Hello", and the startled heron flew off. Rather sad, really, the parrot just wanted to be friendly.

Interesting. I've often wondered why the wild parakeets down here don't have some speech. They are very noisy, by just squawk.

When I was a kid my uncle once brought a bird home to my grandmother (if I remember right it was a parakeet, though I could be wrong). It used to give her the wolf whistle every time she bent over. For about a week, she ignored it when it did it. One day she told it to shut up. It replied "You shut the f&&k up". She almost fell over. The next day the bird was gone.

It will garner many future views, if you do get the brown. I have several -- the most recent in the Ray Bradbury challenge.

I'm pretty sure I know which bird Fred shot...interestingly the "rules" only stated "...Bird or Birds" and made no mention as to the feathered variety or not. I'm surprised we didn't see a shot from Leroy.

My last run of votes were 7, 7, 6, 8, 6, 8, 6, 8, 6, 8, 6, 6, 9...

Are u complaining about a comment left, or one not left?
The four (4) angry PMs you've sent me were pretty intense. And, that's for not leaving a comment. Can't imagine what you are saying to those who actually offer a critique.
You should report all of us ...for not appreciating your art. According to u, we sure are imbeciles.

You misinterpreted my PM if you thought I was angry. I certainly wasn't angry at all and there is no angry tone in my PM to you either. And I never said I considered anyone to be an imbecile nor did I say anything about anyone not appreciating my art. My entry is not even art anyway.

@justfred Recommend you don't use the PM system to harass members.
btw, you have no idea how I voted. And, according to you, I haven't left a comment, yet. I think my first inclination was correct to totally ignore you. Done!
I see a 5th PM has arrived. Harassment continues.

I don't know what you are talking about Richard. I never wondered at all about how you voted. I was responding to your comment when you said that you did not comment on those entries you considered bad taste and rotten apples and they should wither on the vine. Then I pm'd you to say you should lighten up a little as my entry was done in jest. That's all really but you then misunderstood me completely and thought i was complaining that i did not get a comment from you. Then you said i cant take the heat and should get out of the kitchen....what are you talking about? ...what heat? You lost me there

what a load of nothing about nothing ......

Strange, then who did? ...maybe I'm hallucinating again. Haven't been too well lately. Time to go see my shrink again first thing tomorrow morning.

Maybe it's time to get away from the grumbling and start posting scores again.

This is mine, for my feeble attempt...I sure hope it flies a bit higher by the end of the Challenge.
