Hi, I just uploaded some photos to my portfolio, landscape and nature photos from Iceland. My first non-challenge photos on DPC. It would be great if you can tell me what you think of them and also I'm interested in what you think about my borders and titles.

The photos are really beautiful. I think that the borders are a little too thick. Something between 15 and 30 pixles would be enough I think. But maybe you like the borders that way. These thick borders you used are good for hanging on walls, but not for displaying photos online at 640 pixels.
I hope you can post versions with thinner borders and no text :)

Great photos. It seems that you are targeting people with a message of inspiration and/ or reflection. I think your photos do a great job of that. I like thin or no borders, because borders are easy to create with mattes behind the picture or various types of picture frames.
Absolute great! "Distorted Pavement" really caught my attention.

I should have mentioned that I am thinking of printing them with this border on 12"x18" paper (30x45 cm). I agree with you that this is not for displaying in 640 pixels. Thanks a lot for your nice comments and your time.

Nice shots, Amason. I think Earth's Carpet is my favourite.
As others have mentioned, think the borders may be a tad large, but they're still great shots, and well edited. Maybe it would be worth trying to sell them on DPCPrints? (Since you're a member this is a free service.) |
