Wow, it's been a while! What a busy summer!
I just wanted some color advice, as I'm a bit colorblind. I like the color in the following images, but are they (the colors) too strange? And do they go together in a set of three?
Thanks,
David

Welcome back! I, myself, like the middle one. The first one is a bit "neon" looking and the last, a little heavy. BUT, I am on my evil monitor at work that ruins all color and makes them dark. So take mine with a grain of salt!

I agree with Kylie. The middle one looks like a somewhat saturated duotone, but still has a natural look to it. The third one has a bit too much color, and the midpoint could be lighter. The first one is WAY too oversaturated, bordering on cartoonish, and there's a lot of glare on the legs. The angle of that one is a little awkward compared to the others, too.
Assuming more consistent color, the three shots work very well together. The stark white backgrounds make the dinos look even more alien and menacing. You might try the middle color treatment on all three since it has that prehistoric "old bones" look to it (the other colors don't feel as real). You should be in good shape for the "Extinct Reptiles" challenge. ;-) |
