Could someone on the SC DQ my feet entry? I forgot that I used an illegal "make this pic suck" filter in PS. It acts on each pixel independently adjusting the BFV (bad factor for votes.)

It also messes with lighting, composition and relative subject interest to voters.

Help.

Unless you actaully did something illegal, I don't think you can ask for a DQ just because your photo isn't doing very well.

I thought it was funny, maybe a special "EUTHANASIA DQ" (put it out of its misery) - limited to a small number per year... :)

I'd like a Euthanasia DQ for my Vanishing Point entry! That's a cute idea, Tom!

well, if they're giving them out on VP, I'll take an EDQ for my VP entry also.
08/12/2004 01:41:13 AM · #11
in fact, i'd like a couple of posthumous EDQs on some old challenges too...

=]

Yeah Bike racer; i think i used the same filter you did..but nobody will do us the favor and get us out of out misery. mercy killing is good in this case. lol

LOL

What If you have the opposite problem? I am sitting pretty good (I think) on the VP challenge, but I am not a fan of my shot at all! (especially compared to the other shots) My goal is to always get top 10 or 15, but this time I might be seriously pissed if i do..

Daniel, with two ribbons in a row how could you possibly feel like you need to be put out of your misery!

Well, hows about you transfer 0.4-0.9 of the average score from your VP to my Feet?

Ah, what a wonderful zen like picture, that enigmatic entrance...Well, everything is ephemeral. We tend to be judge by what we do today and not yersterday. When I rest, I tend to put some lemons in between. It humbles completely and charges my battery. I must confess another lemon in VP. lol life is so much fun. I speak mostly in jest.

Not a problem, but I'd still be close to a 7 :-\
Are you sure you don't want any more?

Lemons can be quite good with some sugar and water to make lemonade...
I tend to alternate between taking lemons and pictures I think are better. In fact, I knew my VP wouldn't do too well - I just can't resist entering as I like to wake up each day and check the score - it's like an addiction.

Thanks so much for your kind comments on my Enigmatic Entrance, Daniel. Taos is such a cool place, it has such a peaceful, "zen" type ambiance.

I can't find BikeRacer's filter, but I have accidentlally applied the WWIT Photoshop Action lots of times. The results are never pretty.
