This has been an odd challenge, in terms of the stability of my (awful) score. I hit 4.8xx right out of the box, and it hasn't waivered a bit. Never went to 4.9xx or to 4.7xx. Just 4.8xx all week long. Maybe it will rise slightly when the votes are cleaned up, but I've never had a score that didn't bounce at least a little.
Oh well, I went artsy fartsy this time, knew I'd get hammered, got a few comments from people who liked the picture and warned I'd get hammered, and anyway it's almost over, so soon I can get hammered in Neon. LOL

Has anyone else noticed the profusion of newbies commenting on this challenge? I've gotten 11 comments and 8 of them are from people who joined in July or August and one is from someone who joined in April and has never entered a challenge.
Where is everyone else? |

Rarely do my photos appeal to "established" artists here. Oh well. I'm grateful that they appeal to anyone!! :) Teehee!
Sorry if you're an established artist who has commented on my picture and I've failed to "acknowledge" that here... I'm still a "newbie" myself. :) |

| I've got 42 comments so far (4 favorites). About 10 new members. Some very new, I guess they're enthuisiastic, but yes I did notice. Its great to get so much feedback, so I guess I'll spend some time on commenting right now! Good Luck to everyone! |

This challenge has left me rotting on 5.4 since the start. It is an outside the box effort and as you all know this outside the box thing is a double edge sword. However, I am always ready and willing to die with the sword. lol.
When so many people have voted it would be foolish to exclaim that the image is better than 5.4...but in reality I enjoy loosing because it is here that I learn the big lessons...However, this will not keep me from basically remaining outside the box.
In return I go and vote with an insatiable generosity to help the winners win even higher.

| I'm sure your entry is technically great, as are all your entries, have yet to see if its outside the box or outside the challenge...in any case 5.4 wont kill ya or there would be very few DPCrs left. I like the part about insatiable generosity tho! Hope some comes my way! |

Mine is getting my worst score ever at around 4.6xx. It's had a DQ request, too, so folks must think it's too tricky! That's good, isn't it? Isn't it? Maybe?

I'm happy with my all-time high of 5.958x, but I wish it would bump up over the 6.0 line. I have gotten a great selection of comments, very helpful and more than usual. Hope this keeps up. I'm not entering neon (unless I come up with something in the next hour and 15 min) so I will have a week to bask in my best score so far :)

Did the anxiety keep you from working on the neon? Anyway, a minor rest is certain to rechatge your batteries. Best of luck on your next challenge. |

Chances are pretty good you'll get a good boost and pass the 6.0 mark when the challenge ends. Congrats! |
