Hehe; I'm trying to get my dad and some of my friends to join up, could be some good competition for me. :)

Heading for a ribbon? It's funny I didn't like my highest rated photo either. I love some of the also rans though.

My score is slowly going down, but i'll be very happy if I can keep it above a 6.0, I have to stop checking my numbers, each time I do, it lowers just a bit. The comments on this picture have been so helpful, thanks in advance to everyone for taking the time to write, I'll have to return the favor and start commenting more.

My fist entry to DPChallenge and I donĂ¢€™t have the skills in Photoshop software that many of you do. I knew when I submitted my photograph it would not be in the top 60 percentile. But all the comments have been very helpful to improve my future submissions. I was hoping for an avg 5.0. Close.

This is weird, not that I look often but this is the 3rd time my score for VP has been 5.0000.

No, that would be me at the bottom! I had one of those "moments" of "having to enter just to enter that I thought I had sworn off of"!!! It is so embarrassingly sad and bad!!!!
Actually, I am thrilled with this challenge as far as viewing pleasure!!! This is the kind of photography I love and you guys just rocked this one!

Lol, its certainly going to be a high scoring challenge (but not for a few of us). I am throwing out 10s like water from a leaking basket.
My prediction is that there will be lots of high scorers and lots of low scorers and the middle will be quite empty... ***thinks back to statistics class that was required for my major***... a high standard deviation. :-)
I still have my fingers crossed to break 5.0, sitting around a 4.8 right now.

My same thoughts. Great challenge. I am right where you are -- Nico Blue. And fortunate to be that high considering my entry!

Wow, that's a lot of high scores. Sounds like it will be a high-scoring challenge. I thought I might have had this one wrapped up, but obviously not - some stiff competition.
Only 10 comments, and though almost all of them use some means of saying "wow" "top pick" "ribbon" etc, I'm stumbling around the 6.3 mark... *shrug* Thanks to all who *have* commented!
I do know there were some awesome shots and I'll be back once the dust settles to see who did what based on this thread :) |

I've been perplexed by the same problem. . . I get great comments saying, "I gave this one a 10. . .but my score is 5.8, Well. . .this is my 4th challenge and 5.8 is still my highest, but it suuuuuuuuuuuuuure would be nice to finally get in the "6-club" :( |

| Frankly, I'm a bit surprised that people are "throwing" out that many 10's ... I guess its a different style of voting, I give out very little 10's in any competition .. but thats just me ;) |

Great score, in my opinion! Congrats. As far as top ten this time, I have a feeling that the answer is no. This is a VERY high scoring challenge from what I can tell. And deservingly so!!!
