Aside from this in your preferences
Recent Comments
E-mail me when I receive a comment on any of my images that are not in voting.
are there any other ways to determine easily if you've received new comments on any of your images?
If I don't click on the "helpful comment" box on any image outside of challenges it's because I haven't read them or noticed you added a new one. Within challenges it means I thought you comment wasn't helpful.

Occasionally go to your profile and click on your comments. Then, select the drop-down for 'Not Marked as helpful' and click Go.

| Just mark all the comments as "helpful". It will help your scores in the long run, because some voters come back during the voting phase and lower the score, if you don't acknowledge you've "read" their comments. I know, it's juvenile behavior on the part of the voters, but that's the way it works. The only comments I don't mark as helpful are those so malicious, imbecilic and "stalker-like" that I want them to remain "unmarked" for others to view as examples of anti-social behavior. |

There hasn't been one yet, just checked, but thanks for the heads up.
Also thanks  larryslights, that's exactly what I was looking for.

I keep a tab in my browser with my comments received sorted in 'newest first'. Every now and then I go to that tab and click Go. I don't think I miss any of my comments received.
Eta: I have selected all comments. That gives me comments both marked and unmarked as helpful. The important thing to me is the newest comments.
