Can anyone tell me what type of bird this is? I live in Holzgerlingen Germany and these bad boys are all over the place.
Really considering getting a nice telephoto to shoot these guys. |

WhatBird is a great bird identification site, and they also have excellent apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Their search engine is excellent.
The fact that you are in Germany may be a problem, because they are mostly for North American birds. However, if you upload your image, and give them the details about where and when you saw it, I think you will get an identification. And its free. |
