Could we get the last 3-5 comments made on all of our photos displayed on our profile page? I hate missing comments (and not being able to reply promptly) made on photos that I'm not watching specifically for comments on.

edit: 3-5, comments can get long.

In the meantime, you might just want to click over to your profile page every now and then and check. The hardest thing of all to find, I think, is who has chosen a photo of yours as a favorite (if it isn't a challenge entry).

i think our profile pages have quite a bit of information on them already. it seems easy enough to just scan the 'comments received' link every so often, and not clutter the pages further. besides--what if you got a really awful comment--would you want to see it every day until someone added more comments and pushed it down? ;)

i agree about the favorite photos thing tho. it is a little frustrating to search through old portfolio pics or try and memorize how many times each challenge picture has been chosen. would this be a hard thing to implement?

Well, there's 25 forum posts on the profile page.

*** It says last 10, but there's 25 btw ***

I wouldn't mind losing 15 last forum posts for the last 3-5 comments.

For me , it's easier to click "comments received" than scroll the profile page anyway. Maybe they can eventually let you set up your "home" page as you want; there is already a lot of flexibility in preferences. On the challenges, it is easy to see what has been chosen for favorites, isn't it?

I've mentioned before, but I think it bears repeating. I would a forum added, called 'Portfolio Photos' or something. This forum would not allow creating threads, but any image added to a portfolio would create a thread in this forum. The forum thread would be the profile image page.

There would be nothing new added, just a new way of displaying it. But, this would provide an easy way to see what photos are being commented upon, as well as encourage a back and forth commenting dialog that is far more useful than a single comment left in a vacumn.
