That's great...but...Surprise...Nothing happens! Tomorrow your scores will go down by 10 or more percentage points just by "aging".
But in the meanwhile, you will get more exposure. That's all I see in terms of value of the early score.
I imagine if you get an editors choice, then you'll be better situated for exposure in the long term.
Besides that, your score, and the number of comments and likes, will hopefully reflect how much people like your shot. So you can then use the site not only for promotion, but for some feedback (not critical feedback, but feedback nonetheless).

The lightroom plugin works very well...EXCEPT:
I only have 10 photos in my 500px collection showing up...the ones I added after I installed the plugin. Anything before that doesn't seem to get syncronized, despite me using the sync feature on the setup dialog.
Does that work for anyone?
Is there a way to associate the photos in my LR folder with a matching file already uploaded? (Though this is perhaps complicated because I have the export to the plugin set to reduce the photos when publishing.) |

I have LR, but I'm not using the plug-in. Found this link that 500px is working to fixes some issues with the existing plug-in: 500px lightroom plug-in
Btw, guys, thanks for the votes and comment...
I don't know, but I will consider my future uploads with smaller resolution... this one seems a bit too big for average monitors sizes.

Thanks...Good point...I just went there and there was a newer version.
Good thing too..I just noticed my shots are showing the wrong taken date online. They are showing the edit date and saying taken on that date. Which on two cases I looked at put a shot I took on a cold January day as being taken in August, and a warm day shot of a waterfall in January!
