| Here's another idea. Select, compose or capture an image whose visual texture evokes intense emotion OR allows you to feel without touching. Texture would refer either to the surface of a natural substance that could be felt with the skin, or an assemblage of natural or placed items that creates an interesting visual effect...one that compels you to touch or avoid. Attractive design, no matter the subject, should be portayed. |

My first challenge, twenty four challenges ago, was Textures II. I placed 39th out of some 400 entries, and thus began creating the belief system that it was easy to do well in these challenges -- a view that has been tossed in the ashcan of history, twenty three challenges later! Anyway, there's been at least two Texture challenges, and I think there's plenty of room for another.
For the insatiably curious, this was my entry.

| I can see why you got such a high ranking. That is one incredible slice of time. The way the shot was taken...the viewer wants to touch it. At least I do. The blurb below your signature is fun. Thanks for the comment and I agree, texture is always good. JBjb |
