This would be for advance or expert editing, and you would make your image look some form of greyscale or sepia tone, as it might have looked in a newspaper back in the day before they went color. The title of you entry would be what the "headline" for the photo would be in the paper. You would then create a brief (max one paragraph) story behind the image, like you would see in the paper. It would be really interesting IMO...and you'd have voters judging on not just the image, but how clever the idea is and the related story. It would also be fun to sort of dirty up the photos so they looked like they were in the newspaper.

Pterodactyls Sighted Over San Diego Beach!

In a stunning development yesterday, a pair of pterodactyls once thought extinct, appeared in flight over the beaches of South Carlsbad, California today near San Diego. Scientists are at a loss to explain this occurrence. Story continues on page E5.

Also in the news, hell freezes over, pigs discovered to be growing wings, and The San Diego Chargers have won the Superbowl.

Nice idea but theres no way to get the story to show with the image.
