An interesting side note to Frank Phillips' site is that he recently posted over at DPReview that he is now focusing (pun intended, ;P on other photographic endeavors, his "bug phase" seems to have run it's course.

Frank is so good, i am constantly amazed by his photos. But I can see how he could be bored with bugs. If you did the came thing over and over it too would probably get boring after awhile. Still, I how he ocassionaly does some bugs because they are some of the nicest I have ever seen. |

My absolute favorite insect photog is Mark Plonsky, and I'm not just sayin' that 'cause he's a Wisconsin guy (well not just because, LOL. Here is his site. Prepare to be wowed.

I have seen his work before, he's great too. I wish i could get a shot like that. |
