Hi,

I'm targeting the corporate and editorial portrait field. My current client base is business execs, authors, entertainers, etc.

I'm currently charging $249 for a one hour studio session that yields 5 to 10 high res files for digital use.

Can you give me some feedback on that price point? Is your first though that it's a fair price point for this type of work? Too low? Too high?

Thank you for any feedback you can give.

Call around to other studios and ask what they charge and what you get for that price. That's what your customers will be doing.

I charge $125, 3 outfits max, takes about 15 min in the studio (or outside as I have a 'back lot'), they get 2 files (hi and lo res) via disk or email for use as they'd like. Ea addl is $39. Retouching included. I post the proofs to a website and they pick from there (so no time spent on that part things).

I put that on my website and get a surprising number of eHarmony/Match clients wanting pics. Never an issue with the price...so I'm gonna raise it (if they're not complaining about your prices they are too low)
