Ah, so you just want to know the proper term for a less morally valid group to sweep all non-religious people into. Why not just call it "amoralist" and skip the pretense? I linked the article only to show that morality need not arise from religion. That you would build a straw man out of it is neither my problem nor the least bit surprising.

Shannon, you are a complete fool if you link an article that asserts all moral statements are falsehoods in an effort to show how morality arises.
I'll not argue further with you. OK? People wanted to know if I thought atheists were amoral. I do not. I do think Moral Error Theorists are amoral. No sweeping. No generalizations. |

The fact that traffic laws, manners, and the value of paper money are similar "falsehoods" designated by society without objective truth of their own means I would also be a complete fool to suggest they arise without religion and still merit value. I'm just all kinds of crazy.

You have claimed that atheists must necessarily be natural materialists, natural materialists must be Moral Error Theorists and Moral Error Theorists are amoral. Nope, no generalizations there.

Lets stretch this out some more. We need 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon's atheist amorality to have a game. |

Even Richard has entered challenges this year. Three of 'em! More would be good. |

I have a 4th one in now. Unlike Shannon it's never been above 7 but the score is good and it's doing very well in the other metrics. However, it's lacking a Deb comment, which I'm sad about. I should go back to doing bubbles.

I'll see what I can do. I have to edit pictures from a promotion ceremony at work first! Then maybe I'll take a look at the Free Study. |

At the risk of owing you another 50 or so posts, why haven't you put your collection in a book? You could title it Paul Marcus Complete Works, A DPC History. Next to each picture have a running sidebar with interesting little historical tidbits. You could title each chapter by era. For example, the Langdon Photg Precambrian, Life Beguin, Heida-Lawrence Post Cambrian Explosion, Graphicfunk-Scalvert Createous Period, DrJOnes Nude Extinction Event, Aurora Boreal Age, Irene Translucentic and Gyaban Neo-Post Messianic. I might have missed a few. |

ROFL. The BradPHistoric, the Kiwinessozoic, the Larussic... that sounds like fun! The dominant members of the Createous are considered dinosaurs and the Irene Translucentic was just a bubble.
