Don Giannatti, one of PDN's top workshop instructors of 2011, and an experienced commercial photographer with over 30 years experience in the industry, is teaching a workshop at Creative Live online next week Thursday thru Saturday. Well worth registering (free of charge) for this one, watching the FREE live webcasts and/or FREE evening "rewatch" rebroadcasts.

I know Don, have taken his workshops, and this will be a keeper.

I'm assisting, have seen the curriculum, and helped to cast the models, MUA. You really don't want to miss this.

They take questions via a chatroom or via twitter, and they do some giveaway prizes during the events for twitter comments.

Registration is free, and it gets you an email with direct links to the webcast. It probably also gets you emails about other classes as they are announced. For me, that is a good thing, since they have some great content at CreativeLIVE. But you can always opt out of the emails after the class is over.

Yeah agreed - I have attended one of Don's classes and this is an easy buy for $100 (I prepaid already as will not be able to watch much of it live). He is not really a gear guy and it's one of the reasons I like listening to him.... I can do gear, just no flipping clue what to do with it ;-)

Yup--the course should cover available/natural light, hot/continuous light, speedlights, and studio strobes. Not the specific gear, but how the light works, how to get the image you want with the light you have. Should be a ton of fun, and a ton of good info.
