I had to stop and get gas this evening. It took 30 minutes to get gas, not because the price of gas had went down, but because the lotto had gone up!
Oh...I gave in a purchase a whopping 4 tickets.

The way I see it, is that the odds against buying a winning ticket are many millions to one. The odds of finding a ticket lying on the ground are much better, as I see one from time to time. Therefore if you add the odds of finding a ticket to the odds of winning, the difference isn't even within a few decimal places. So I wait to find a winner, and actually have more money than most in the process.

The chance of winning the mega millions if you buy a ticket is 1:175,711,536...a lot better than if you don't buy a ticket, ZERO:175,711,536.

I didn't buy a lottery ticket. I didn't even KNOW about it until today.

The bright side is that I get wonderful pictures underneath my rock.

you might want to add that your odds would be true if you were only playing 1 game. Where as most were playing 5 or so. I played $20 so my odds were 20:A LOT STILL
