Lost my main computers system disc this morning... funky noise... Well you know the rest...... blink blink blink....

Everything is backed up and I will only lose the emails that arrived since the auto backup last night but what a PITA. Just ordered a new drive (still spiked in price but seem to be coming back down in price after the floods), so guess what I am doing this w/e :-/.

Just a friendly reminder - Make sure you have stuff backed up and then check again - it could have been ugly.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll bet that backup array just paid for itself compared to the cost of trying to salvage data off the now defunct drive.
