In Advanced editing, is it legal to add one of photoshops drawing filters (for instance Charcoal, chrome, graphic pen etc.) selectively to a portion of a photo?
I can send a message with the image I am talking about to someone if they want to see, but its an entry to the Key challenge so I don't want to post it.
Its too late to get a response via contacting SC via a ticket so I am hoping some knowledgeable DPCers will know. |

It may or may not be legal -- there's really no way to tell for sure in advance in Advanced (pun intended).
The only example of aomething possibly similar to what you describe is this old entry, where I used the "Find Edges" filter to give a more cartoon-y look to a cartoon-oriented challenge.
Your best bet at this point is probably to make a side-by-side composite of the Before/After images, upload it to your Workshop folder, and then post a text link for anyone willing to offer their unofficial opinion. |
