I picked up the new iPAD 3 yesterday (did not wait in line, just walked in and bought it, no problem whatsoever) and having loaded over 10,000 images onto it I can say that the new screen is impressive. I use the iPAD everyday for work and the share images of engineering artifacts with clients. It was already fantastic but now with the greatly enhanced resolution, even the older images look superior.
