They do and they don't.
Excellent artwork, but I think PP in photography is bringing things closer and closer to what looks like paintwork.
Notably with pseudo hdr, but it's an arrival point of many years of increasingly diffused and heavy PP.
Control over a light which is not there in first place, and images made to accommodate that.
So, I guess this is more and more similar to what people see everyday and expect from advertisement and showbiz photographers.
Perhaps the day will come that people will look at a photo from 20 years ago and wonder what weird filter was used to make it look like that.
