am i allowed to use a colored gradient fill over my image to "change the colors"? the gradient will be opaque to allow the image to show though and will be applied to the entire image. the gradient will also be multicolored, i am not making any selections.
i seem to remember someone doing this recently and i thought they won a ribbon, it was an image of smoke that was colored in post. i cant seem to find it or if it was ultimately dq'd.

No gradients in basic. The smoke image you're referring to was advanced.
