| I do, it just adds a load of features to your camera - features that are great for either video recording or if you use manual focus lenses (which is why I use it), not that useful otherwise (although it does have a few stills features, e.g. timelapse and hdr). I think the best thing is to try it yourself and see. If you have any specific questions I can answer them, but otherwise it's all on the website. |

| I mainly wanted to know if it caused any issues, mainly...is it safe? I trust more people here, than where I heard about it. |

| Ah, well it's pretty safe - as safe as updating your firmware from Canon. The only thing you modify about your camera is one byte I believe - which just tells your camera to allow the loading of unofficial firmware. Magiclantern itself resides on the SD card, not on the camera (so to get rid of it you change/format the SD). |

| I also use it and haven't had any problems. I only really use it for the focus assist lines when using manual focus on video. There are some cool rack focus stuff for focus stacking, but I've found it so difficult to use that I end up doing it manually. |
