Not all images appeal to all people... and I know it's been mentioned here before, but I really wish when someone gives a 3 or lower, they would at least comment as to WHY they gave that score... even if it was something as simple as "I don't like it". A little insight as to why would be much appreciated. It wouldn't bother me at all if I got low scores... but constructive criticism... is that too much to ask? Just venting. Sorry.

you're beating a drum thats been beaten i assume since teh first challenge, certainly since i joined in august it has but it doesnt work like that
apparently there used to be a pop up suggesting a comment for a score under 4 but its long gone |

It should still be there.
And I figured I it's an issue that's been announced over and over. Its sad someone will leave a low score with no indication as to why. Whatever. It is what it is. :)

It caused voters to just inflate their scores to exactly the threshold needed to not trigger it, defeating the point. Many people do not feel comfortable leaving critical comments, largely because there are tons of threads decrying "troll voters" and the prevalence of negative PM's after challenges if you do leave a critical comment. I understand where you're coming from, but those are the biggest impediments. |

Some people are binary voters and only use the 1-2 scale (bad/good). So a 2 is top score. Congrats! :P |

I've seen registered users do this because they can't vote on member challenges. Think of it as what they would have voted if they could, and in this case be grateful that they are not a member :) |
