OK... bringing the thread back on track... score is fluctuating , between .2 up and down. So what. Big deal. BUT... I got a nice comment. Whoo hoo...

Just another average picture to some... a fond memory for me to remember. :) Now THAT'S what really matters!

I have a 5.39 after 73 votes. A little disappointed considering all comments were great.

I had three photos I thought were really good, but my wife won't even let me post them online. I'm sure she's deleting them now since I'm at work.

I bought a shirt for my three month old daughter which says "They're raising me gay!", and managed to get a solid photo of her with the shirt on, clearly visible, while she was stuffing a rubber figurine of a beaver into her mouth. I even managed to get some of the lighting correct. The shot was gold.

I'd love to see that!classic! But like the masturbation pic in the love challenge not long ago, there are too many fuddy duddys around who's humor goes as far as The Goodies,(I do like the goodies but I laugh at everything)and they complain about non PC subjects. If the figurine is clearly visible that pic would go viral via email!

Exactly why my wife was none too thrilled. When she found out what I was doing, I instantly thought castration. Something about the sexualization of children really set her off. I figure if their young enough, it's simply cute and something we can all laugh at. Which was my original intention.

Have received some really nice comments on my photo. Perhaps this will be a new PB... though it's only my second challenge entry. Still, improvement is always good. :)

5.68, and 4 nice comments. People seem to be seeing what I was thinking when I shot it, which is not so common for my entries. If it holds, it will pick my average up a little.

Wait till you've been here a few years and see how hard it is to get a new PB. ;D

Just voted and I agree. It seems people don't know or simply ignored the difference between the two.

Idiom - an expression whose meaning is not predictable from the usual meanings of its constituent elements.
Euphemism - the substitution of a mild, indirect, or vague expression for one thought to be offensive, harsh, or blunt.

They're not even close to the same thing.

Ha, right in the middle of the scale. More importantly some helpful comments.

Mine is a definite euphemism for something people consider offensive. I just think people don't get it and aren't bothering to look it up (except one that left me a comment telling me they looked it up and got it for sure, LOL). Solid middle of the road here.

Down to 6.13 from a start up of 7.00. Not too bad for me. A new personal best if it stays that way.
