I've rented from lensrentals.com many times in the past 4 years or so and have always been impressed with their service. Last week I rented a 70-200 IS 2.8L II for 5 days to take on vacation. Planned on shipping it back the 5th day when I returned home, but my truck broke down on the mountain pass and I was unable to get back in time to send it out. I emailed customer service and let them know my situation and that it would be a day late and they responded with "This one's on us, Ken. Best of Luck."
Awesome.
...At first, I assumed they meant I can just keep the lens after all I went through, but I realized they were just saying they wouldn't charge me for an additional day. Still awesome, I suppose. :) |

I have considered renting a 600mm lens from them before, so it's good to hear that you have been happy with them. |

not sure they are in the uk, but whats roughly the cost of renting a lens? all in with insurance and shipping etc
does it alternate with the value of the lens say renting a 600mm be more than the 70-200?
id love to play with a 600 for a weekend |

You can go on their site and see what the costs are without having to checkout. I paid under $300US for all I rented for 5 days with insurance. |
