high speed laser trigger for shooting, well high speed shots.
anyone that has any experience with this device they'd like to share with a canon speedlight user would be much appreciated.
i'm looking to use the camera axe with a hot shoe adapter ( cord synced - so the hot shoe adapter is only to connect one light to the camera axe - not to the camera - the camera will be connected to the axe with a sync cable of its' own ) that will ( i think ) still allow an st-e2 IR flash transmittor ( on camera ) to fire two other lights...
thanks

Have you ever looked at The Time Machine? This may be overkill for what you want, but with it and a couple or three sensor types, you can do most anything.

You can have a look at the following link:

This actually looks pretty good, even though the person DID join the site solely to promote the product... I donno how the price (155.00) compares with what else is available though. It seems a very versatile product.

I predict you may have trouble using two different sync signals. You should sync all the flashes to one signal.
The camera axe seems less expensive than the Time Machine and has the advantage of being based on the Arduino open source platform...meaning that you can alter its hardware configuration and/or programming to suit your wants/needs desires. |
