I'd like to take online class with a good feedback from a good instructor. The class should on intermediate to advanced level and focus on natural light in photography. So far I have identified the following:

Has anyone taken any of these courses? Are there any others I should look at? Any recommendations?

You know, I looked at the portfolio of the instructor teaching the second course listed (Perello) and I am seriously underwhelmed. I wouldn't spend money trying to learn from that guy. If I am going to take a course and spend hard-earned money, I want to see a winning portfolio, a portfolio that has been self-edited by the photographer to display only the best. The images in his portfolio are not good, unless I am missing something here and the images are examples of what not to do...
I have learned SO MUCH from the Kelbytraining.com site. I know that you don't get individualized instruction and critiques but I think it is worth every penny to be a member of Kelby training and I've received a lot of excellent advice and learned different techniques. I am not particularly a fan of Scott Kelby's photography but I've gained tons of insight from his website.

Thanks. I have a few books by Scott Kelby and read most of them. I am primarily interested in feedback so I am concerned about the quality as at $50 per assignment it is rather steep. |

Watching the videos is so much better than reading a book... You can always sign up, watch a few things and then get a refund if you aren't happy... I am just so sold on that site and can't emphasize enough how much I've learned...
And if you want feedback, send me $25 per assignment and I'll critique your work ;-) |
