I'm sat at work in my digger waiting on the inspector and I had the random thought that I wonder what was the longest focal lenth to ribbon, I know Christophe used a 600 with a x2 extender in super moon but that was a composite shot, magnum had a 500mm shot second in sports but wonders if anyone knew this. I'll research more tonight when not on my phone :)

not sure what the focal length was but here is a 170-500mm

actually it has two ribbons:

Sometimes Red uses a TC which gives him 700mm, but didn't that day due to poor lighting conditions.

ok so 1000mm 5th place

10th 1200mm telescope

6th 1200mm
