pull back guys, pull back! you are killing some great images with it!

examples? as it is a subjective subject

just a trend im noticing during voting so i dont want to post any examples, i made comments during the voting.

its like the hdr hole people get stuck in. you dont need to kill the image with topaz, let it stand on its own a little.

when i can tell you used topaz, you did it wrong.

I,m guilty of this and promise to pull back in future having seen the error of my ways.
I like Topaz but somedays wish I had never met it.

So what you are saying here is that you've seen the error of your ways and been saved. It's the devil's plugin... Repent!!!

Ok, here's the funny thing. I'm getting HDR related comments both positive and negative and I didn't use anything of that sort. I didn't even increase the saturation (only the contrast)in my edit. But your comment on my image did make me pause and look at it differently. I may have finished the edit in under 5 steps but I obviously overdid something for it to be jarring in some way.

And you're right about overuse of HDR/Topaz. It really does ruin an image sometimes.

I admit, I'm an addict. I love the topaz look. All of them! Some you'd never know, some quite obvious. Though, since my eye sight has been getting progressively worse, I've probably overdone a number of them lately. The good news for you guys is I saw the eye doctor yesterday, and I really am going blind, but they can fix it. I get my first eye surgery Feb. 28th. They won't schedule the second eye until the first is done though.

Sorry to hear about your vision loss, but at least its fixable. I have been getting progressively worst eyesight as well (from a medication that I was on for years, at least the doctors assume that's the cause).

On another note, makes you wonder about things...
In Oklahoma, in order to get my driver's license, I had to have the eye test, and my restriction was that I MUST wear my eyeglasses or contacts at all times when driving.
HOWEVER,
in West Virginia, I don't have to wear them when driving.

I understand things vary from state to state, but really? When I'm 15ft away from a road sign, it's completely blurry without my glasses. So that's not ok in Oklahoma, but is ok in West Virginia? I just don't get people sometimes.

I know I went off topic here, I do that sometimes (more often than not, lol)
Anyway... Good Luck with the surgery!

Very scary feeling. I'm just happy it's fixable.
