My sister-in-law (Penny's sister) lives in Queensland, NSW. She's signed up for a photography curriculum through the TAFE Arts Program, and the first 6 months of it will be done with film. She has several Nikon lenses, but no film body.

By any chance, do any of our Australian members have an old Nikon film body they'd be willing to loan out for 6 months? Thought I'd take a stab at it :-)

Consider looking online on Craigslist or other for an F100. It's SUPER capable film camera and can be had for cheap. I bought mine with an SB28 for $175, and it's a legit pro grade 35mm camera. AF is super snappy, exposure is solid. If shipping were an option, I might consider loaning, but I think it might be more economical to buy one as they're pretty common and the F100 is great. Heck, you can buy F5's for $400 and those were cream of the crop.

Found this on eBay Nikon

By the way, Queensland and NSW are two distinct states in Australia.

Your sister-in-law might also wish to google "Gumtree" in Australia which is their equivalent of Craig's List.

I realize this does not answer your question, but it could prove helpful.
