| Well, the snow is melting very fast here and the temperature in the alpine is spring-like! Not something we expected in February but this has become an opportunity to rent a car and explore some of the local area. What are the best photo places accessible within 30 min walk from somewhere we can park the car within 200km from Whistler? Thanks! |

My inlaws live in Pemberton, which is not far up the road from Whistler. There's some really nice valleys and backroads to explore....
Not sure if you know this or not, but driving in BC takes twice as long as anywhere else! LOL So, where 200km may take you 2 hours or less in Alberta, it would take you closer to 3 or 4 in BC. All the hiways are just old logging roads! ;) |
