Dang it! Just too much shaking going on here in central VA. Just had a 3.2 stir things up. Yes, it's not major I know, but still unnerving.

A little plate tectonics to build up the mountains a bit for the tourists.

Anyone in your area breaking up rocks to extract natural gas?

Fortunately, no. Then you'd have to deal with groundwater problems I hear (we all have wells in our area).

hmmm.. what area are you in? Didn't feel anything in lynchburg, but 3.2 is pretty small.

We're about 15 miles from the epicenter of this one.

I agree, 3.2 is small. Rattled the pictures on the walls, that's about it. BUT, it is irritating. :-P

I had a 3.2 a while back and the epicenter was approximately 0 miles from my house. It was kinda interesting.
