He has sent in three shots, but still he has got three shots that everyone would be proud of. I just wanted to warn Kiwi and Heida that this guy is going to be on the top ten alot here.
Well, just wanted to say, keep up your outstanding work, always great to get some new talent on the site (although it means that people like me have smaller chance of winning :)

| No doubt someone to watch. I added smokeditor to my favorites yesterday. Just a matter of time before he has a ribbon collection. |

I second this sentiment. A clean crisp style with unique presentations. Certainly a force to reckon.

Well, just proving that I was right, after 13 challenges he has the average vote received: 6.4202 which is amazing. And in 11 of these 13 challenges he has ended up in top 20.

| I just saw this thread!! I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their nice comments. I have learned and continue to learn so much from this site and all the photographers on here. I hope I can continue to take photos that everyone likes and contribute to this site. |

looking at styles and a certain pic that is in another league to the others, I'd be willing to put a little something on it :)

Yeah, i agree, he has some pretty great photos.
Looking at his avg recieved vote of 6.4, is impressive, but he has also been a member since 2003, and obviously enters when he feels or knows he has a great image. There are others who have a lower avg vote, but enter tons of challenges like konador. I think there is something to be said about challenging oneself to entering as many challenges as possible, even if you don't have the winning entry.

True I did join in Oct 2003 but I did not enter my first challenge untill July 2004 right after I became a paid member. And since then I have done almost every challenge.
Although now as work gets busier till the end of Oct, i probably will be more selective in what I enter.

You're work is more than impressive, no need to explain yourself :)
...and certainly no reason to question your own abilty in comparison to others on here - how do you think that make us lesser mortals feel?
I'm looking forward to seeing if I'm right about your 'Smoke' pic

Yeah, you know what, your right, and i agree with colda, that there is no need to 'explain yourself'. Either way, if you had entered only when you thought you had a good photo, or entered all the time, you have great photos. And looking at your portfolio again, I see that you DO enter all the challenges which i think can be applauded if you have a good photo or not... however you have great photo's consistently, which can be given a louder applause.
