Here is a visitor we had at my workplace this morning. My adrenaline is still pumping. Luckily it was to late for the Macro challenge, and I didn't have to get real close.

Glad you didn't get a chance to enter this in a challenge. I think most voters agree that cat photos stink.

I've never smelt a skunk before.. how bad could they be?
surely their odourous ways are overhyped

He he he - just wait until the first time you are granted the pleasure of 'skunk stink'. It's God-awful nasty!

Well I don't think there are skunks in Australia. So you have to come to north america for that. And believe me the stench is NOT overhyped!

Oh my goodness they stink. There is no hype about the stink of a skunk.

Driving between Traverse City and Detroit Michigan you will often run across at least two carcases on the road, speading by driving between 60 and 75 miles per hour you will get a whiff that will linger.

When my wife and I got to our home in downtown Traverse City, in the evening. She thought she had seen a skunk run by the front porch, after I entered the house and turned on a few lights.

The skunk didn't spray, but the stench of the skunk musk lingered around the front of the house for most of the evening, faintly I should add. If it had sprayed, we would have had to use the back porch for the whole weekend.

A good 'hit' of skunk musk can make one vomit for quite some time.

Imagine working hard for a whole weekend, sweating your butt off and shoving all of the sweat stained clothes (at least two to three days worth) into a bag and leaving them in the bag for a few days. Open the bag and you will be greeted with quite a stench. That stench is at least a 100 times weaker, if not more weak, then the stench of skunk musk.
