I've also noticed a trend of beating myself up over images also. Water off a ducks back. Water off a ducks back.

Well, I'm pretty tolerant of challenge descriptions. But, one would not observe a duck's back indoor, would one?

Maybe if said duck were in the tub.

probably no ducks, but i predict a lot of water use in the entries! ;-)

Tough to show the duck's back and the tub in a macro shot.

Some people may have an indoor pond with a Mallard or 2 present.

I think the basic editing really held me back on this one. Spot editing could have gone a long way for my entry.

Prediction... between 5.01 and 5.103

Not sure, my "star" calculation keep drifting off the target because of the freaking solar flare :P

I just went back and looked through the images from the first indoor macro challenge and noticed that this could be loosely interpreted. Seems like many entries (even top entries) may have technically been taken inside but were more than likely items brought inside to photograph.

I think DPC was also a much different place back in 2003. That being said. Good Luck everyone.

I hate basic editing, but I am in. I actually don't hate it. I just have to pay more attention before I click my shutter! :) Not expecting a high score on this one. Really satisfied with the learning experience though. Now off to an expert challenge!

I have always said those buttons are waaayyyyyy too close together. Like having the button to dispense ice cream and the button to deploy nuclear arms in the same suitcase. Your gonna go in and get a lot of ice cream because ice cream is just so damn delicious but one day you will hit nuclear deployment button on accident.

I know that it gives you a pop-up box but for some of us our brain just automatically clicks yes because we were assuming we hit the preview entry button. I did it once before but never that close to roll over. I feel your pain.

Well that makes me feel a bit bitter. Or something. :S

Literally, TWO seconds.

I realized what I'd done, hit refresh, and then got the message that the site was doing it's challenge score calculating thing. Grrrr...

Hello to all.
I started with my first entry in this challenge. Not sure if I want to upgrade to member just yet.
This is also my first forum post. (Pop.... that was a champagne bottle opening sound. :-) )
Good luck to all.

Teamwork. It never existed.

eidt: That sounded like I said that the teamwork never existed. LOL

I meant it to read. It never existed because of the use of teamwork

Never submit the image that relies on subtext.
