So today marks my 1 year anniversary of starting photography and being a member of DPC. Over the last year I have entered 35 challenges and learned an extraordinary amount about this discipline....both picture taking and PP'ing! I really can not understate how beneficial my participation at DPC has been, I highly doubt I would've learned as much on my own.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank the DPC community for such a great website and environment for learning. Particularly Bear_music Yo_spiff and vawendy who I have adopted as my mentors. Thanks guys for your insight, comments, criticism, patience....and honesty when telling me an intended entry is crap.

Renewed my membership today, and looking forward to another year of learning the craft!

EDIT: attached the graph of my "progress" that I've been charting! Hoping to keep the red dots over the green line much more this year!
